Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot by following signal flow. Avoid changing several settings at once.

Screeching or harsh static in the broadcast path

Likely cause from the previously confirmed failure: ATEM return feeding its own Bus 7/8 mix.

Immediate actions:

1. Lower Video L/R Return.
2. Confirm Aux 3/4 are not sent to Bus 7/8.
3. Keep the return at −∞ unless intentionally required.
4. Retest at a low monitoring level.

House sounds correct but stream does not

Check:

1. Bus 7/8 selection and link state.
2. Individual channel sends to Bus 7/8.
3. Bus 7/8 master level.
4. M32 output routing toward the ATEM.
5. ATEM audio input.
6. Downstream BoxCast monitoring.

Do not immediately change microphone preamp gain just because the stream is soft.

Several stage inputs disappear at once

Check DL32 power and AES50 before adjusting individual channels.

A scene load unexpectedly changes many controls

That can be normal scene behavior. Verify the scene name and recall state before trying to "correct" every fader manually.

Playback is unexpectedly loud

Stop or lower playback first. Then check the source file, channel/bus level, destination, and gain structure before continuing.
